SERIOUSLY INJURED

BOWBELLS, July 26.—Mayor Frank Smith of Bowbells was seriously injured by the explosion of wood alcohol used in generating heat for a gasoline stove. The burning fluid was thrown in his face. His hair was entirely burned off, and his face was also very badly burned.
