Attached By Wild Cats In Field.
Jow Tax, who is working for Jake Marto, while out in the field plowing was overtaken and chased by two wild cats or lynx, having a very narrow escape from serious injury as the animals were very savage and at the time Mr. Tax did not have anything to protect himself with. He rode one of the horses he was using to the house, and the animals kept right after him until within a short distance from the house, Mr. Marto and Joe shot at them, but failed to get them.—White Earth Record.
