Ed Holtz, the barber next door, has a pet. A stray cat came into the shop the other day and took up its permanent residence. The new acquisition to the Seibert barber shop pays ye editors sanctum a visit occasionally and climbs up on the desk and says, "yeow," sort 'o hungry like, just about the time we are deeply occupied with the silent messengers of thought(————!) Meaning things said. Friendly old cat at that. They say it is a pet of Eds boyhood days in Iowa, and has followed him here, taking these many years to make the trip.
