Williston — While hunting rabbits near this city Jack Kluth had one hand almost entirely shot away. He had rested his gun against a clump of bushes and in reaching for it took hold of the muzle [sic] and the most natural thing happened — the gun exploded. Every bone in the hand was smashed while three fingers were completely carried away. The wrist, too, was dislocated by the force of the explosion.
