DEPUTY ARRESTED

Was In Blindpig While Law Was Being Violated.

Williston.—Because of evidence he gave in the case in which Rose Gibson was charged with violating the state prohibition law, A. J. Darling, a deputy sheriff at Ambrose, is now under arrest. While on the witness stand he gave testimony to the effect that he had been in the place conducted by Rose Gibson when the prohibition law had been violated and that he made no efforts to prevent it. The offense is punishable by removal from office.
