SHOCKED HER RUSTIC SIMPLICITY

Mrs. Buchanan, whose husband lies in the county jail for ill-treating her, was knocked down and assaulted in her shack in this city one night last week, by a big man whose name she does know. She reported the matter to the police and asked that she be given a different place to sleep. She is working in the Dakota hotel. The woman is not bright.
