Brainerd, Minn, Aug. 22.—Andrew Leighton, in charge of Lud Crooks' farm camp on Blind lake, disappeared some five weeks ago, and all efforts to locate him have proved fruitless. Saturday information was obtained from a friendly Indian that two other redskins had murdered Leighton and sunk his body in a lake. Sheriff Spaulding and Officer Derocher left for the scene of the crime armed with warrants for the arrest of the murderers.
