A fellow tapped the till in the office of the Hotel Butte at
Sentinel Butte Tuesday afternoon. He was rounded up by a posse of citizens who searched him, and being unable to find the money on his person was inclined to accept his statement that he was innocent. At last however, the long green was discovered in his shoes. The culpit
{sp} was locked up in the meat maket
{sp}, in lieu of a jail, and sent for the sheriff to take over the prisoner.
