Desperate Encounter

Shot in a Dispute.

In a dispute over stock at Buford Andrew Nobel, vice president of the Buford Mercantile company, was shot in the shoulder and J. C. Sanderson twice in the leg. Both will recover. Mr. Nohle {sp} went over to Sanderson's to get a horse on which he held a mortgage. Sanderson objected to having him take it and guns were pulled and both men were wounded. The affair happened fifteen miles out from Buford.
