Long Hunted Coyotes Are Finally Captured

Hebron, May 15. Fred Petrie found a coyote den Sunday and after digging into it for a few minutes found himself looking at some sharp teeth in the mouth of a female. He backed out of the den and taking his gun soon killed the coyote and ten small ones. The only one of the family to escape was the old male who endeavored to lead Fred away from the den. This pair of coyotes had been in the neighborhood for years and though often hunted had never been located.
