{sp} Johnson, of Fargo, recently on rial
{sp} before Judge Hudson, charged with infanticide, was acquitted on Tuesday last. In addition to a certificate of innocence, the jury handed the accused $60 collected among themselves while out of court. The spectators who received the verdict "not guilty" with uproarious shouts of applause, increased the amount to $100. In many respects it was the most remarkable criminal case ever before the courts of Dakota.
