MINOT GIRLS CREATES DISTURBANCE IN MINNEAPOLIS
Minneapolis, Minn., May 26.—It cost artin {sp} Paulson $15 in the police court today for carrying a screaming girl in his arms one block.
It cost the girl, Miss Rose Hale of Minot, N.D., $10. Albert Marco, a third party involved did not appear in the "police tragedy."
According to the story told by the girl, she had been keeping company with Paulson, for six months, but Tuesday night broke the engagement, announcing that she was engaged to Marco. When this news was broken to Paulson, the three were standing at Second avenue north and Third street. Paulson grabbed the girl and started to run away with her. Marco ran down the opposite direction. Patrolman Michael Btck {sp} attracted by the girl's cries, arrested Paulson and Miss Hale. Both were charged with disorderly conduct and pleaded guilty.
