OFFICER CHARGED WITH HIGHWAY ROBBERY

Hebron, N.D., Aug 5.—An effort has been made to arrest H. V. Schmals, a local deputy game warden of this place, on a charge of highway robbery. He caught some men afield with guns and dogs and confiscated their guns under the state game law. This created great indignation among the victims, till they learned the game warden was within his powers.
