Mrs. Geo. Parker was severely burned about the hands by a gasoline stove explosion in her apartments in the Scofield flat Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Her husband was in the room at the time, and quickly extinguished the flamed by throwing some rugs about her. Most of the clothing was burned from her body and some which was hanging near the stove caught fire.
