SMITH STIMMEL DIES
He had been an invalid for several years, his illness being caused from injuries received in a football game in this city.
Several operations were performed on Mr. Stimmel soon after his accident and for a time it was thought he would fully recover, but he gradually failed in health, until the end came Wednesday.
Mr. Stimmel was 29 years old, and was a graduate of the Fargo high school, class of 1902. He is survived by his father Smith Stimmel, one sister, Mrs. Frank Knerr, and two brothers, William and George, who were with him at the time of his death.
George Stimmel will bring the body to Fargo for burial, and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
