One Missing Finger

HER DEATH WAS SUDDEN

Miss Florence Walters Succumbed to Heart Trouble While Recovering From Operation

Word was received in Grand Forks very early this morning of the death of Miss Florence Walters, chief operator of the Northwestern Telephone company at Crookston. The young woman had undergone an operation last week for appendicitis and was apparently well on the road to recovery. Heart trouble, however, was experienced and Wednesday she began to fail until 11:30 o'clock in the evening when death occurred.

Miss Walters was 31 years of age and had been with the company the past six years. She was quite well known in Grand Forks, having visited here frequently.
