Carl Moser's little girl at Denhoff had her foot nearly cut off in a mowing machine. The father who is a religious fanatic refused to employ a doctor, saying he had written a preacher who would pray for the little one's welfare. The sheriff went to the home and found the foot tied up in a dirty rag.
