WAITER DID THE CARVING

TRAGEDY PERFORMED BY "HASHERS" ON FOURTH STREET AND KELLY AVE.

"Carter and Carver" is the title of a little tragedy that was performed last evening on the corner of Fourth srteet {sp} and Kelly avenue the chief scenic effect being a knife, which was drawn across the back of one of the men cutting a gash from side to side, but not deep enough to be serious. The carver and Carver is his name landed in the tombs, while the fellow, who carted away a badly lacerated back was Carter. It was a production true to name the final scene being enacted in court this morning, resulting in a fine. Both men were employed as waiters in the city.
