Arrested For Perjury
A sensation was caused in the court room Tuesday when Judge Goss ordered Alex Lester, a witness in the Hamilton trial, placed under arrest on the charge of perjury. Lester stated on the stand that he could not tell the difference between buttermilk and beer. He made several similar statements and the judge, after giving him every opportunity to correct himself ordered him under arrest.
