Disastrous On Both Sides

Bootlegger Suicided

Eugene Young, a transient arrested in this city last fall for selling liquor to Indians, and sentenced to sixty days in jail, was let out of jail on February 10th, and was killed by a Great Northern train east of Aberdeen last Thursday. Testimony introduced at the inquest showed that the man deliberately walked in front of the train, and the theory is that he was demented or wanted to die.—Mobridge Bulletin.
