Last Thursday morning about 5, o'clock the sharp cracks of a rifle rang through our little city which aroused a few of our towns people out and upon investigation we found it to be our liveryman Fred Sinclair who was trying to play sportsman and had a coyote cornered between the barn and the windmill, but as it was Mr. Coyote had a snap in getting away from Fred although he had a close shave says 'Sy.'—
