John Joyce, a brakeman on the west end of this division of the Northern Pacific, while attempting to climb from a flat car to the top of a box car, near Medora, last Tuesday, slipped and fell to the ground sustaining a sprained ankle and injured knee. At the time of the accident the train was moving at the rate of about twenty miles an hour and it is a wonder that he was not killed. He went to the Brainerd hospital
. Wednesday evening and will remain there until able for duty.
