May Be Incendiarism

Dawson — The barn of Hassan Eli, north of Crystal Springs, was burned with its contents, including four head of horses, two of them, a team, belonging to a brother-in-law. The barn and stacks were in full blaze when discovered at night, and men with lanterns were heard to call each other by name as they departed in the darkness. The alleged incendiarism is said to be the consummation of a threat made to Eli recently, after he had neighbors arrested for stock trespassing.
