Boy, Swimming With Clothes On, Drowns
Marmarth, N.D., May 31—Loren, 11, son of George Anderson of this city, was drowned in the Milwaukee Railroad company's reservoir here Saturday afternoon. Three boys used a boat to reach a small island from which they fished, but one tiring of the fishing took the boat back to the mainland. Young Anderson and a companion tried to swim back with all their clothes on and had nearly made the distance when Anderson called for help. His chum, Archie Knutson, nearly lost his life attempting to rescue him.
