John Hanson, a Cass county farmer, tied his team to a barber pole, and when frightened by an engine they pulled down the pole, raced up the street and collided with a buggy in which were J. D. Moulder and his wife. The buggy was smashed and Mrs. Moulder fainted, but fortunately neither of them was much injured. A suit for damaged is likely to result.
